Jane Sanders

Academics
Jane holds an LLB and LLM in law, in which she specialised in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and trained as a Professional Commercial Mediator with CEDR. In June 2010 Jane successfully completed the Bar Vocational Course at City Law School. Furthermore, on 14 October 2010 Jane was called to the Bar by Gray's Inn, fulfilling a lifelong ambition. Consequently, she is now a barrister, although she does not, as yet, hold a practising certificate and cannot, therefore, hold herself out as a practising barrister. The effects of the Legal Services Act 2007 and what this means to Jane, and JSCS will be explained shortly. In brief, Jane is one step closer to acquiring rights of audience; something which she currently has to ask to exercise.

Gamekeeper Turned Poacher
Working for the Financial Ombudsman Service gave Jane valuable insight and understanding of all things FOS, including their decision-making methods, policies and interpretation and application of statute. These skills have been used to great effect in both defending and bringing complaints since 2008.
Our dedication to delivering the highest standard of services to clients, a driving desire to achieve a just result for all clients and an unparalleled problem solving skillset sets Jane and JSCS apart from competitors, and has seen JSCS rise to a market leading position.

Our Plans
JSCS's star looks set to continue rising with three new additions to the team: Judith Coverta, Office and Accounts Manager, Linda Millington, Case Coordinator, and Will Harvey, Associate. In addition, JSCS has an exclusive arrangement with ifaPROSURE whereby we provide our expert services in the defence and settlement of complaints faced by its IFA clients. Jane says: I am immensely proud of my team, and our achievements which look set to continue.
