Academics
Jane holds an LLB and LLM in law, in which she specialised in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and trained as a Professional Commercial Mediator with CEDR. She is also currently undertaking the Bar Vocational Course with City Law School, with a view to achieving a long held ambition of practising as a barrister and adding to a core set of skills from which many clients have already benefited.
Gamekeeper Turned Poacher
Working for the Financial Ombudsman Service gave Jane valuable insight and understanding of all things FOS, including their decision-making methods, policies and interpretation and application of statute.
It is this experience, coupled with a dedication to delivering the highest standard of services to clients, and a driving desire to achieve equality for firms within the current regulatory regime that sets Jane and JSCS apart from competitors, and has seen Jane's reputation grow rapidly in her first year as a consultant.
Our Plans
Jane's growing reputation looks set to continue with her appointment to resident FOS agony aunt at Panacea, and recommendations from IFADU, and particularly favourable press from both Money Marketing and FT Adviser. She says: 'I look forward to another successful year, and gain particular gratification from offering solutions to both firms and individuals which many have heard about, but never seriously considered using. I hope this is set to change!'
